Restonic is not such a well known company like Simmons or Sealy, but it has a lot of different products to offer. And because of that, it is not easy to say are they a good or a bad brand. It definitely depends on the product we are talking about, about your personal preferences, bed firmness you prefer and the price range. So it is best to read this humble Restonic mattress review and find a bit more about this brand and is it worth to check them out.
Since Restonic is a smaller manufacturer of mattresses, they have been trying to find a niche that could be profitable for them. They offer anything from innerspring, viscoelastic, magnetic and even air beds. There is a wide variety of choices. This is a good thing in start, since that tells us they do have a consumers that are satisfied with their products and are buying them. It is an important part of business for any brand, if their beds are being sold in different price ranges and niche’s, then they must have been doing something good.

The main product for any company, and it’s the same for Restonic, is a innerspring mattress. The line that represents them in this company is called ComfortCare. The features of these products are numerous but I think we should stay away from all those “Mega Giga Foam-Metal Support Coil” expression and just say it how it is. These ComfortCare mattresses have more coils in the center, to give some support for our bodies. It’s a classic, but the low quality manufacturers don’t do this. So, one plus for Restonic is here. Second, we have a improved edge that is filled with a foam of higher density that gives more support and firmness to the edge. This gives more space in your bed and keeps you from falling on the floor if you are closer than you should be. Another plus, so it is 2:0 for Restonic mattresses.
When it comes to firmness, it’s a good thing that you can choose it. There are three levels of bed firmness and you will recognize them as Firm, Plush and EuroTop models. If you didn’t figured it out, because I know I didn’t, EuroTop is the softest of these three. 3:0, right?
I will tell you that these are good beds. And they are affordable. But how are they compared to other brands, like Serta or Sealy? Well, lets just say that Sealy Posturepedic is the biggest competitor to ComfortCare line. That one is tough to beat. The plus for Restonic is that their mattress is considerably cheaper, but Posturepedic will last you longer. The main complain from consumers is that Comfort Care models sag after several years. Now, this is not something that is completely true since it doesn’t mean that this will happen to you. If you pick a firmer model and you are not a heavy individual, you can enjoy in this model for quite some time. In case you like to sleep on a soft surface and you are not a slim person, then Sealy Posturepedic mattress is better for you. Innerspring finishes with a decent 3:1 score. Not bad.

Innerspring variant gets a good grades, now lets move on to Restonic latex mattresses. There are many models to choose from, but the usual offer is a 6 inch thick core. You get to choose various mattress toppers and quilts. What is important to determine the quality of these latex beds is the quality of latex itself. Providence line, the name Restonic has for their latex line, is using the same materials like Sealy, Serta and Simmons do. This tells you a lot about the quality, and it is a plus for Providence beds. The same material goes into other brands, but they are bit more expensive, which is another good thing to hear. This means you do not have to go for a Sealy SpringFree, just choose Restonic Providence and then add the topper and mattress pad you want. It will be the same quality, but you will end up with more money in your pocket. Use it to buy something else. Oh, I forgot to say the score. 2:0 for the home team. If you are looking for a latex, Restonic could/should be your choice.
When it comes to memory foam, we all know that they are the latest trend in this industry. But there are many companies offering lousy products that they want to sell for high price. Baiting customers with lower price, knowing that they want a good and quality sleep but can’t afford it, is not a nice thing to do. But still they do it, so you have to learn how to protect yourself. A bit off topic here, but do check the quality of memory foam or visco foam mattresses before you buy them. Restonic is one of the brands you can put your trust in. The HealthRest models have 6.5 inch thick core, and 3.5 to 4.5 inch of visco topper, depending on the model. These are good measurements, since a thicker foam is not a good thing. You will fall through and wake up completely cramped. These Restonic Sensi mattresses are really attractive offer. Comparing them to True Response and True Form, they are almost equal in quality. But since big brands are gonna ask you some more money to charge their popularity and image, you are better of with Restonic. If the price difference is not so high, I would say that they are all equal. But I have to consider the price too. After all, if we could all pay for the most expensive one, we wouldn’t even need mattress reviews, right?
Since they have right thickness and are priced right, they get two points. They lose one due to being a lower quality then Simmons, Serta and Sealy, which leaves them at 2:1.
In overall, Restonic mattress is s fine choice. Quality wise, they are a bit under the bigger boys in the playground. This is also the case when it comes to the variety of choices. But price wise, they are much better. So, if you want a good bed, but also want to take care of your piggy bank, this company is your friend. You will get a good bang for the buck you invest.
